3 Things that Move the Needle on Your Goals & Dreams

Actualization Principle #1: Optimize to Actualize

Over the past 22 years, I've used the McKay Actualization Method to create extraordinary things in my own life - and in the lives of many of my clients, too. When the McKay Academy of Actualization opens its doors, you'll be able to learn how to apply these tried and true principles to your own life.

For now though, I wanted to share the first principle of the McKay Actualization Method with you: Optimize to Actualize.

To bring your goal (or heart's desire) into your reality, start by optimizing. You can optimize everything from your physical space, like your office, desk or desktop to your physical body - not just your weight but your physical wellbeing.

Here are some optimization ideas to get you started.

  1. Move the energy & make room for the new. Clean out a drawer. Clear your desk. Or your inbox. Fold your underpants and put them away. Match your socks. These tasks don't have to take long - 15 min at the most. For instance, yesterday I cleared off my bathroom counter. I put away all of the extra stuff - essential oils, supplements, hair products, my curling iron. Now my counter is clear. I felt happier and less annoyed when I got ready for the day. (I also felt proud of myself for taking the time to do it.)

  2. Appreciate how far you've come. Make a list of the gifts and graces you've received over the past 2 years. The media has us focused on all the shit that went sideways for the past 2 years. The political, societal and cultural unrest and turmoil. The media has us focusing on what's wrong.
Neuroscience tells us that it take 5 positive thoughts/interactions for the brain to recover from a single negative one. Take time out from the negativity, doom and gloom - not to bury your head in the sand but to give your brain a much-needed break. Make a list of how far you've come. Did you meet someone new? Did you get a new job? Did you move house? All of these experiences are evidence that you're living life. Appreciate and celebrate the gifts and graces you've received.

  3. Invite in the extra-ordinary. If you're worried that you'll fall into your old pre-pandemic patterns of overworking, pushing, hustle and grind...make a decision to shut down the autopilot and live each moment fully. Seek miracles, and surely you'll find them.

Now over to you.

How will you apply this principle to your own life? Leave your message in the comments and let me know. I love to hear from you!

PS: we are opening the doors for the inaugural class of the McKay Academy of Actualization are opening soon. Be sure to get on the early notification list to be the first to know!
